Cypella elegans adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membetuk umbi lapis. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Argentina (Jujuy). Nama ilmiah Cypella elegans diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carlo Luigi (Carlos Luis) Spegazzini pada tahun 1917.
