Cyperus alatus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering. Nama ilmiah Cyperus alatus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1874.
