Cyperus alternifolius subsp. textilis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian) yang dapat tumbuh di media tergenang air (helofit) dan memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Cyperus alternifolius subsp. textilis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 2014.
