Cyperus amabilis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis dan subtropis. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan foothill flatsedge. Nama ilmiah Cyperus amabilis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Martin Vahl pada tahun 1805.
