Cyperus anisitsii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Paraguay. Nama ilmiah Cyperus anisitsii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Georg Kükenthal pada tahun 1936.
