Cyperus beyrichii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Rio de Janeiro). Nama ilmiah Cyperus beyrichii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Adolph Schrader pada tahun 1854.
