Cyperus caesius adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Venezuela utara. Nama ilmiah Cyperus caesius diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johann Otto Boeckeler pada tahun 1870.
