Cyperus dentoniae adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Arizona selatan hingga Amerika tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan hairy flatsedge. Nama ilmiah Cyperus dentoniae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gordon C. Tucker pada tahun 1983.
