Cyperus dives merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering. Nama ilmiah Cyperus dives pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alire Raffeneau Delile pada tahun 1813.
