Cyperus hooperae merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Goiás). Nama ilmiah Cyperus hooperae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gordon C. Tucker pada tahun 2016.
