Cyperus lentiginosus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan latin american flatsedge. Nama ilmiah Cyperus lentiginosus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Frederick Millspaugh pada tahun 1903.
