Cyperus mapanioides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Afrika. Nama ilmiah Cyperus mapanioides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Baron Clarke pada tahun 1901.
