Cyperus platyphyllus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah India selatan, Sri Lanka. Nama ilmiah Cyperus platyphyllus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Jacob Roemer pada tahun 1817.
