Cyperus pohlii subsp. bahiensis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil timur laut. Nama ilmiah Cyperus pohlii subsp. bahiensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis David Alan Simpson pada tahun 1993.
