Cyperus ramosus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Australia utara. Nama ilmiah Cyperus ramosus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1936.
