Cyperus retroflexus var. pumilus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat bagian selatan-tengah hingga Meksiko timur laut. Nama ilmiah Cyperus retroflexus var. pumilus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Lord Britton pada tahun 1997.
