Cyphia crenata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Campanulaceae yang memiliki kebiasaan membentuk umbi di bawah tanah (geofit) dan berpola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Cyphia crenata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1836.
