Cyphia latipetala merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Campanulaceae yang memiliki kebiasaan membentuk umbi di bawah tanah (geofit) dan berpola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Nama ilmiah Cyphia latipetala pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Borivoj Presl pada tahun 1837.
