Cypholophus macrocephalus var. heterophyllus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Urticaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Taiwan (Hualian, Lan Yü), Filipina, hingga Pasifik selatan. Nama ilmiah Cypholophus macrocephalus var. heterophyllus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hugh Algernon Weddell pada tahun 1857.
