Cyphostemma chloroleucum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Vitaceae (suku anggur-angguran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari RD Kongo bagian selatan hingga Angola. Nama ilmiah Cyphostemma chloroleucum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Welwitsch pada tahun 1966.
