Dalea confusa var. hexandra merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko barat daya. Nama ilmiah Dalea confusa var. hexandra pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rupert Charles Barneby pada tahun 1977.
