Dalea luisana merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko tengah dan timur laut. Nama ilmiah Dalea luisana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sereno Watson pada tahun 1882.
