Daphne baksanica merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Kaukasia utara-tengah. Nama ilmiah Daphne baksanica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Eugenia Georgievna Pobedimova pada tahun 1950.
