Daphne laureola merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Azores, Eropa, Afrika barat laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan spurgelaurel. Nama ilmiah Daphne laureola diperkenalkan oleh Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
