Daphnopsis alpestris adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Rio de Janeiro). Nama ilmiah Daphnopsis alpestris pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Gardner pada tahun 1893.
