Daphnopsis caracasana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia hingga Venezuela. Nama ilmiah Daphnopsis caracasana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Daniel Friedrich Meissner pada tahun 1857.
