Daphnopsis crassifolia merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Hispaniola. Nama ilmiah Daphnopsis crassifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jean Louis Marie Poiret pada tahun 1857.
