Daphnopsis ekmanii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Rep. Dominika. Nama ilmiah Daphnopsis ekmanii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Walter Domke pada tahun 1933.
