Daphnopsis ficina adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga Nikaragua. Nama ilmiah Daphnopsis ficina pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Paul Carpenter Standley pada tahun 1940.
