Daphnopsis mollis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Daphnopsis mollis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Daniel Friedrich Meissner pada tahun 1924.
