Daphnopsis occidentalis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Cayman, Jamaika. Nama ilmiah Daphnopsis occidentalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1892.
