Daphnopsis strigillosa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Guatemala hingga Honduras. Nama ilmiah Daphnopsis strigillosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Cyrus Longworth Lundell pada tahun 1976.
