Daphnopsis utilis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil. Nama ilmiah Daphnopsis utilis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johannes Eugenius Bülow Warming pada tahun 1871.
