Davilanthus purpusii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko (Puebla). Nama ilmiah Davilanthus purpusii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Townshend Stith Brandegee pada tahun 2010.
