Delphinium tenuisectum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Ranunculaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari New Mexico hingga Meksiko (Chihuahua, Durango). Nama ilmiah Delphinium tenuisectum diperkenalkan oleh Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1894.
