Dendrocalamus calostachyus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan bambu dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Arunachal Pradesh hingga China (Yunnan). Nama ilmiah Dendrocalamus calostachyus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Wilhelm Sulpiz Kurz pada tahun 1877.
