Dendropanax proteus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Araliaceae (suku mangkok-mangkokan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah China selatan, Hainan selatan. Nama ilmiah Dendropanax proteus diperkenalkan oleh John George Champion pada tahun 1861.
