Dendrophthoe praelonga merupakan tumbuhan hemiparasit dari famili Loranthaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel pada batang pohon lain (epifit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Jawa. Nama ilmiah Dendrophthoe praelonga pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Ludwig Blume pada tahun 1856.
