Dendrosenecio adnivalis var. petiolatus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika timur-tengah hingga Uganda. Nama ilmiah Dendrosenecio adnivalis var. petiolatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Karl Olov Hedberg pada tahun 1993.
