Dendrotrophe platyphylla merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Santalaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nepal hingga China (Yunnan barat laut) dan Indo-China. Nama ilmiah Dendrotrophe platyphylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Curt Polycarp Joachim Sprengel pada tahun 2003.
