Deprea glabra merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia hingga Peru. Nama ilmiah Deprea glabra diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Paul Carpenter Standley pada tahun 1977.
