Deschampsia argentea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Madeira. Nama ilmiah Deschampsia argentea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Richard Thomas Lowe pada tahun 1838.
