Desfontainia fulgens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Columelliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Chili tengah dan selatan hingga Argentina barat daya. Nama ilmiah Desfontainia fulgens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama David Don pada tahun 1837.
