Desmanthus leptophyllus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Florida selatan, Meksiko, Peru, hingga Brazil timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan slenderleaf bundleflower. Nama ilmiah Desmanthus leptophyllus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1824.
