HAIRY SMALL-LEAF TIC Desmodiumciliare (Muhl. ex Willd.) DC.
Desmodium ciliare adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada tenggara, Amerika Serikat bagian tengah dan timur hingga Meksiko timur laut, Honduras, Karibia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan hairy small-leaf ticktrefoil. Nama ilmiah Desmodium ciliare diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Gotthilf Heinrich Ernst Muhlenberg pada tahun 1825.
