STIFF TICKTREFOIL Desmodiumobtusum (Muhl. ex Willd.) DC.
Desmodium obtusum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tengah dan timur, Kuba. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan stiff ticktrefoil. Nama ilmiah Desmodium obtusum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Gotthilf Heinrich Ernst Muhlenberg pada tahun 1825.
