Desmodium ochroleucum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan cream ticktrefoil. Nama ilmiah Desmodium ochroleucum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Moses Ashley Curtis pada tahun 1864.
