Desmodium sclerophyllum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Desmodium sclerophyllum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Bentham pada tahun 1859.
