Desmodium varians adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering. Nama ilmiah Desmodium varians diperkenalkan oleh Jacques Labillardière pada tahun 1832. Nama ini merupakan sinonim dari Grona varians.
