Desmoncus loretanus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu dari famili Arecaceae (suku pinang-pinangan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Peru (Loreto). Nama ilmiah Desmoncus loretanus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Andrew Henderson pada tahun 2011.
